Vic man remains critical after pub attack

A man attacked outside a pub near Geelong overnight remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The 38-year-old from Drysdale was rushed to the Alfred hospital early on Saturday morning after an altercation outside a licensed premises in the rural town left him with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man had left the pub with two male friends when he was approached by the men and a woman.

The 38-year-old's friends received minor injuries.
A spokesman for the Alfred hospital said the victim was in a critical condition.
