Vic man dead in car accident

A Victorian man has died after his car struck a tree in Anakie early on Wednesday morning.
Police believe the car, which was travelling north on Bacchus Marsh Road, struck the tree sometime before 4am (AEDT).
Police and emergency services are currently on the scene and Bacchus Marsh Road will remain closed between Carrs Rd and Granite Rd for a number of hours.
