A man has been convicted of indecently assaulting two girls in regional Victoria more than 50 years ago.
Ralph Laurie, 74, of Maryborough, faced the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on April 16 charged with seven counts of unlawfully indecently assaulting a girl in 1961.
He was convicted of the assaults against two female victims and got a one-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, police said in a statement on Tuesday.
