Vic man charged with unlawful imprisonment

A 37-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment after a woman's body was found in a Craigieburn home on the weekend.

Emergency services were called to the house on Kernan Court just before 11am on Sunday where they found the 25-year-old woman's body.

The man, who lived at the property, is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
