A man who allegedly jabbed people, including a 12-year-old boy, with a syringe in Melbourne has been charged.
The boy was allegedly jabbed in the arm last Saturday while waiting at a tram stop in Kew, while a 24-year-old man travelling on a tram in Kew on Monday was jabbed in the hand, police say.
The 40-year-old man was charged on Tuesday with offences including intentionally causing injury, as police investigate whether two similar incidents in Fitzroy on Monday are linked.
