Vic man charged over fatal stabbing attack
A Victorian man has faced court charged with murder and attempted murder after a stabbing attack on two men.
Fizullha Haroon, 38, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon charged over the death of a 48-year-old man and an attack on a 37-year-old man in Dandenong earlier that day.
Police say they were called to a Pickett St property in Dandenong at 12.45am to find the man and his two alleged victims.
Paramedics treated the 48-year-old at the scene but he could not be revived, while the other man was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police allege all the men knew each other.
Victoria Police also said the owners of the Pickett Street property have had it approved for demolition in the near future.
Haroon was remanded in custody until his next appearance on January 10 next year.
