Vic man charged over apartment murder

A Melbourne man has been charged with murder following a fight at an apartment.

Police were called to an apartment in Ashwood on Thursday evening after reports of an altercation between two men.

A 43-year-old man from Ashwood was found dead.

Another man, 46, also of Ashwood, was charged on Friday with one count of murder.

He will be remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
