Vic man caught speeding on way to court

A Melbourne man has been caught speeding and using a mobile phone on his way to court.
The 23-year-old was doing 158km/h in a 100 zone while using his mobile phone in Kew on Wednesday morning, and told police he was on his way to make an undisclosed court appearance.
His car was impounded and he is expected to be charged on summons with driving at a dangerous speed and using a mobile phone.
