Vic man arrested for kidnap in Melbourne

A man is accused of kidnapping a woman from a Melbourne laundromat and biting her on the face.

The woman, in her 20s, was kidnapped from a Springvale South laundromat on Saturday and viciously assaulted.

Police said the man threatened to kill her and bit her face during the assault before releasing her.

Soriya Meas, 36, was arrested and charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and assault and will appear Melbourne Magistrates Court on November 13.
