Vic man arrested after fatal truck crash

Police have arrested a Victorian motorist after a fiery crash that killed a truck driver last month.

The 53-year-old truck driver was on his way to work when a car ploughed into his prime mover at Port Melbourne on November 7, police said.

They found the truck driver dead next to his vehicle, which caught fire after the collision. The car driver escaped unscathed.

A 40-year-old Docklands man was arrested on Thursday and is expected to be charged with culpable driving causing death.
