A man has admitted to violently raping a woman and a teenage girl in their Melbourne homes.

Davut Bulduk attacked his first victim - a woman in her 30s - after breaking into her home last year.

On February 26 this year, he entered the Roxburgh Park home of a 16-year-old girl and raped her as well.

Bulduk, 30, pleaded guilty on Thursday to two counts of aggravated burglary and six counts of rape.

Prosecutors say Bulduk initially denied the crimes and provided a false alibi, but later changed his story and claimed memory loss due to use of the drug ice.

A court has previously been told DNA evidence linked Bulduk to the offending.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to front a plea hearing in the Victorian County Court on October 25.
