Vic hardware armed robbery, three arrested

Police have arrested three men believed to be involved in an armed robbery at a Melbourne hardware store in which a staff member was threatened with a knife.

It's alleged a man stole a drop saw from the hardware store in Heatherton on Thursday night before fleeing in a waiting car.

Police then spotted the car in Cheltenham soon after, arresting two men at the scene and a third found hiding in a nearby backyard.
