Vic govt blocks release of flight costs

Victoria's government has refused to say how much it spends on chartered flights to regional areas, blacking out the cost in Freedom of Information requests.
The cost of 10 return trips was redacted because they contained personal information and would expose the flight operators to a commercial disadvantage.
Shadow attorney-general John Pesutto said Labor had argued for transparency in opposition but was hiding how taxpayer dollars were being spent.
