The Mercedes was allegedly stolen from an aggravated burglary at Hawthorn East on Thursday while the firearms were allegedly stolen in another aggravated burglary at Donvale on Wednesday. No one was injured during either alleged burglary.

The pair were charged with 17 offences including aggravated burglary, car theft and firearm theft.

The 25-year-old will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday, while the teen will face the Children's Court on a later date.
