Vic driver in court over fatal crash

A Victorian woman who was driving a car with eight passengers before it crashed and killed a teenager has appeared in court.

Emily Toulson faced the Victorian County Court on Thursday charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death, as well as other driving offences, over the fatal smash in October 2015.

Toulson had her plea hearing adjourned until next year after her lawyer told Judge John Carmody he had concerns about her fitness to plead.
