A Melbourne driver on a suspended licence has allegedly been clocked doing drive 101 km/h in a 40 km/h zone just as a school was about to finish for the day.

Police allege the driver was detected flying through the 40 zone in Point Cook in his Audi sports car 61 km/h above the speed limit on Wednesday afternoon.

The 22-year-old driver, from Point Cook, will be summonsed to court for speeding, failing to display P plates and driving on a suspended licence.
