Vic dog walker hit by car remains critical

A man hit by an out of control car that killed his dog remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The 35-year-old man was walking his dog in Melbourne on Thursday night when a car crossed onto the wrong side of the road, mounted the curb and knocked him over.
His dog died at the scene and on Saturday a spokeswoman at The Alfreed Hospital said the man remains in a critical condition.

The car continued through two fences and into a unit block, leaving a 29-year-old female driver with minor injuries.
