Vic cyclist critical after car hits him

A cyclist is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Melbourne.

The 59-year-old Alphington man was struck by a car in Heidelberg about 7.30am on Sunday.

The woman driving the car was uninjured, and police are looking for the driver of a second car who stopped to help but left before authorities arrived.
