Vic Country Alliance seeks name change

The Victorian-based Australia Country Alliance party wants to become the Australian Country Party.

Party secretary Darren Cooper made an application to the Australian Electoral Commission on Thursday.

The party was founded in 2005 and fielded 52 candidates in the 2014 state election.
