Vic cops foil cannabis ring, 13 charged

Police say they have dismantled a statewide drug ring in Victoria, charging 13 people, seizing guns and 100kg of cannabis.

Officers raided houses at Wollert, Lalor, Cairnlea and Bendigo on Tuesday and allegedly found a large amount of cash, the cannabis and two guns.

All 13 people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis and appeared at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
