Vic cops find huge illegal cigarette haul

A truckload of illegal cigarettes has been found in Victoria.

Police pulled over a hire van near Baddaginnie on Thursday and found 254,000 cigarettes, which would have avoided over $100,000 in import tariffs, police allege.

A 23-year-old man from Sydney and a 49-year-old man from Ashfield have been charged with dealing in property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
