Vic cops evict 20, arrest 10 at AFL final

Police have praised crowd behaviour at the AFL Grand Final with less than a dozen arrests out of crowd of more than 100,000.

By the final siren, police had booted 20 people from the ground and arrested 10 for offences including drug possession, being drunk and disorderly, deception and assault.

Two booze buses were in operation in both directions on Punt Road following to match, testing drivers leaving the ground.

A heavy police presence remains as Tigers fans continue to celebrate in their thousands on Richmond streets, the majority on Swan Street which is closed to traffic.
