Vic cop charged with historic sex crimes

A Victorian policeman has been charged with historical sexual offences that allegedly occurred west of Melbourne in the 1980s.
The officer from the North West Metro Region has been suspended with pay following an investigation by the force's professional standards command.
He is expected to face Geelong Magistrates' Court on April 13.
