Vic childcare centre robbed

A burglar has targeted a Melbourne childcare centre, making off with cash from the front reception.

The man entered the Moe childcare centre on August 14, rummaging through the reception desk and stealing cash from a drawer, police said.

The Latrobe City Council, who operates the facility, said no children were present at the time of the burglary.

The unknown thief is thought to be aged in his 50s.
