Vic boy hit by bottle at soccer

A nine-year-old soccer fan was hurt, flares discharged and unruly spectators evicted at Saturday night's A-League Melbourne derby.

The boy needed treatment after he was hit by a plastic bottle during the match between Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City at Etihad Stadium.

Ten people were evicted from the stadium for unruly behaviour, pitch invasion and possession of flares, Victoria Police said.
