Vic border shooting brothers admit guilt

Two brothers shot by police during a counter-terrorism check near the Victorian border have admitted assaulting officers and making threats to kill.

Joshua Clavell and younger brother Joel were shot near a Barnawartha North campground in Victoria in June as local police tried to conduct a counter-terror assessment.

The brothers assaulted officers before they were shot.

They pleaded guilty at Wodonga Magistrates Court on Wednesday to assaulting an emergency officer and making threats to kill.

They will face the County Court in February next year.
