A tour operator charged after a man was killed during a dolphin spotting trip off the Victorian coast has briefly appeared in a Melbourne court.
Torie Sandra Mackinnon, 30, was reversing her boat as one of her passengers, 60-year-old Paul McVeigh, jumped into the water and was struck by the vessel's propellers near Portsea in December 2013.
McKinnon was not required to speak during her brief appearance at the Supreme Court of Victoria before Justice Michael Croucher.
