Vic bikie arrested, gun and drugs seized

A gun, samurai sword, drugs and stolen war medals have been uncovered in a raid on a Melbourne bikie's home.

Echo Taskforce detectives raided the 33-year-old Frankston man's home on Wednesday afternoon and he is expected to front Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.

"Following a search of the address, police seized a hand gun, ammunition, samurai sword, a range of drugs including methamphetamines, cocaine and steroids, Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang clothing, and what are believed to be stolen war medals," police said in a statement.

A stolen Range rover was also taken from the Karingal Drive property and the man was served with a firearm prohibition order.

The raid was done following a home invasion in Hampton Park on September 9.

The man has been charged with aggravated home invasion, intentionally causing injury, making threats to kill, assault, various firearms possession offences, trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, and possessing cocaine, methamphetamine and testosterone.
