Vic attempted murder accused remanded

A man charged with attempted murder in Victoria has refused to face court or speak to a lawyer.

Corey Whittle, 39, is accused of an attempted murder in Werribee on October 26 and is also charged with two counts of attempting to cause serious injury to Freddi Koelemann on the same day.

Whittle was remanded into custody until November 8 after he refused to leave the cells below the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
