Vandals hit Melb parking meters again

Parking meters recently installed by a Melbourne council have been smashed up by vandals opposed to paid parking.

CCTV cameras installed by Maribyrnong Council failed to stop the new parking meters being vandalised in Yarraville for the third time in as many weeks.

Wednesday night's attack follows the meters being clogged with construction adhesive two weeks ago, which caused more than $40,000 worth of damage.
