Unlocked cars targeted in Melbourne

An opportunistic thief has targeted 25 unlocked cars in Melbourne, stealing credit cards and CDs.
The cars were parked in driveways in Eltham and Briar Hill, in the city's northeast, over the past week.
Police are investigating whether CCTV of a man buying cigarettes with a credit card stolen from one of the cars is linked to the thefts.
