Man, woman stabbed in Melbourne CBD
A man and a woman remain in hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Melbourne's CBD, while four people interviewed by police over the incident have been released without charge.
The 33-year-old man and 37-year-old woman, both from Reservoir, were assaulted during a fight on the corner of Flinders and Elizabeth streets, near Flinders St Station, early on Monday.
The pair remain in hospital with non-life threatening injuries and four people interviewed by police have been released without charge.
A witness earlier told media at the scene "it was a serious fight and two people were just lying down and the other people were just hitting them".
"I could see one person, a lady, she just pulled up her shirt and she just got her stomach and she was bleeding," the woman said.
