Two questioned about Vic kidnap attempt

A man and woman are being questioned over the attempted kidnapping of a teenage boy in Melbourne.

Police on Thursday night released CCTV images of two men and a woman wanted after a 17-year-old boy was pushed into the back of a car and driven around a hotel carpark last month.

A man and a woman in their late 20s are now assisting police with their inquiries after attending a police station.

No arrests have been made.

The victim says he was pushed into a car after getting off a bus in Vermont South on February 5.

The car mounted the curb in front of him while a man behind him shoved him into the vehicle.

The car only made as far as a nearby hotel before the teen escaped - fighting off a man who tried to hold onto his t-shirt.

The boy ran up Springvale Road and reported the incident to police.
