Two pedestrians critically injured in Melb

Two pedestrians are in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Melbourne.
The man and woman, both aged in their 40s, were struck as they tried to cross a road in Brighton East just before 7pm.
The driver of the car, a 60-year-old man, was not injured and is speaking to police.
