Two Melb men charged over 18 fires

Two men have been charged following a series of fires in Melbourne.
Police say a 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from Ashwood, were arrested about 10am on Friday morning over 18 fires that were lit in the Ashwood area between February 3 and Friday.
The men were charged with 18 counts of intentionally cause bushfire at an out-of-sessions hearing.

The 31-year-old has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
The 32-year-old was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
