Two dead, child badly hurt in Vic crash

Two people have died and a young child has been seriously hurt in a crash in northern Victoria.

Police have been told a Commodore crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with another car on the Goulburn Valley Highway in Wunghnu at about 2.45pm on Friday.

Two passengers from the Commodore are dead, while a young child from the car has been flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The man driving the Commodore has also been taken to hospital in a road ambulance, as has the woman who was driving the other car.
