Two charged in Vic over drugs in the mail

Two men have been charged with trafficking drugs including ecstasy and cannabis through the mail.

The pair were charged after a raid at a Bentleigh East property on Thursday morning after police allegedly found a traffickable quantity of methylamphetamine, MDMA and cannabis, Victoria Police said.

A 30-year-old Bentleigh East man was arrested by detectives at the scene and has been charged with trafficking MDMA and cocaine and is facing further charges. He was remanded in custody and will appear in court in November.

A 38-year-old Bentleigh East man was also arrested and charged with possessing methylamphetamine.
