Two burnt in $200,000 Melbourne home blaze

Two people have suffered minor burns and the top floor of a home has been destroyed by fire in Melbourne.

Eight people were evacuated from the Cairnlea house because of the blaze which started in a bedroom.

A 70-year-old man was treated by paramedics after falling while two other occupants sustained minor burns.

The damage bill is estimated at $200,000.
