Mystery surrounds remains found in Vic

The origins of bones found by a tradie in Melbourne's west on Friday remain a mystery.

The remains were discovered by a worker who was excavating by the side of the road in Werribee South.

Police set up a crime scene at the site before taking the bones to be analysed, but the origins of the remains have yet to be determined.
