Touch on, tear off - Melb Myki unit stolen

A Myki machine has been stolen from a moving Melbourne tram.
The card validator was "forcibly removed" by five unknown boys as the Route 57 tram headed up Maribyrnong Road in Ascot Vale last Tuesday afternoon, police say.
They are appealing for information from witnesses or anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area at the time of the theft.
