A three-year-old boy has died in a "tragic accident" after a ute hit him in the driveway of a home near the Victorian-NSW border.
The boy died in the Robinvale hospital shortly after he was taken there in a critical condition yesterday afternoon, police say.

A ute seen in the driveway of the Cramp Road home is believed to be the one that struck the boy was hit about 4.20pm.
"The incident is being treated as a tragic accident," police spokesman Alistair Parsons said in a statement today.
