Lost toddler united with Melb family

A young girl found wandering alone in Melbourne's west has been reunited with her family.

A passing construction worker spotted the toddler wandering near a road just after 9am.

She was cared for at a police station until her family arrived, after a public alert was issued.

"We are happy to report that the toddler located in Truganina has been reunited with her family," Victoria Police tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
