RIGHT-WING EXTREMIST'S ALLEGED TERROR PLANS:

* May 2015 - Found with a kitchen knife wrapped in a banner at a Melbourne right-wing rally

* September 2015 - Aligns himself with members of Reclaim Australia and an associate from neo-Nazi group Combat 18

* Orders an ingredient for smoke bombs

* October 2015 - found with a marine distress flare at a United Patriots Front rally in Bendigo

* November 2015 - Cattle prods, mercury and computer equipment seized in a raid at his home

* Video footage found shows Galea performing reconnaissance of a target

* April 2016 - Meets an associate and provides plans to attack "left-wing" locations

* Galea loses contact with some associates due to his fixation with the plot and infighting for rights of the Reclaim Australia Facebook page

* Before August arrest - Aligns himself with Patriots Defence League Australia and the True Blue Crew

* Tries to recruit people to help with his plans and researches homemade bombs, ballistic armour and guns
