Three teens charged over Vic carjacking

Three teenagers have been charged following a carjacking and armed robberies in the Melbourne suburbs of Epping, Broadmeadows and Laverton.

Two 15-year-old boys from Lalor and Heidelberg Heights and a 17-year-old youth from Richmond were arrested on Wednesday night in Thomastown, police said.

The boys were all charged with two counts of armed robbery, burglary and firearm offences and were remanded in custody to appear at a children's court on Thursday.
