Three gunmen hold up Vic cash van

Three men brandishing firearms have robbed a cash delivery van in Melbourne.

Investigators initially said the gunmen held up the van at Sunbury about 6am on Monday before robbing a nearby McDonald's fast food restaurant.

They now say the restaurant was not targeted.

The trio stole a large quantity of cash and fled on a motorbike and in a black car.

No one was injured.
