Three classic car thefts in Melbourne

The theft of three classic Ford cars from Melbourne properties over the past month could be linked.

While the cars were all stolen from separate addresses, police believe a tow truck was used in every raid.

Most recently a platinum blue 1977 Ford XC coupe was stolen from a Brunswick home on March 13.

A blue 1979 Ford XS sedan was taken from a Campbellfield property overnight on 28 February and a 1981 Ford XD sedan was stolen from Fitzroy North on March 2.
