Three arrested for tax fraud

A year-long investigation into allegations of money laundering, links to organised crime and an off-the-books cash arm at a national security company has led to the arrest of three men.

Their arrests follow two separate investigations into the Melbourne-based business, one of which resulted in the suspension of the company's corporate security licence; the other focused on allegations of taxation fraud and financial structuring offences.

After its licence suspension the business was sold to another security provider, which has no links to the alleged illegal activity.
