Thieves steal inflatable Rudolph in Vic

Thieves have stolen a Melbourne family's three-metre-tall inflatable reindeer from their Preston font yard.

Victoria Police say the plastic reindeer was stolen on Monday afternoon when the thieves severed a cable and removed a number of ground pegs before making off with Rudolph.

"The family favourite is described as about three metres tall, brown in colour with a red nose and yellow antlers," a police spokeswoman said in a statement on Tuesday.
