Thieves load Harley into van in Melbourne

Brazen thieves have loaded an expensive motorbike into a van in suburban Melbourne and driven off with it.

The two men were caught on security cameras loitering around an underground carpark in Doncaster East for about 20 minutes before driving a white Mitsubishi van alongside the bike.

They loaded the $44,000 Harley Davidson into the back and drove off.

The theft occurred about 5am on January 24.

Police have released images of the men who are in their mid-20s and of European appearance.
