Thief cleans out Melbourne laundry

A thief has cleaned out a Melbourne laundrette of its coins - three times in one morning.

The man went to the Burwood East laundromat repeatedly between 1.15am and 4.30am last Wednesday and used tools to crack open multiple coin hoppers, police say.

Investigators have released CCTV footage of the man and hope to get loads of information.
